Bedworks of Maine
Dow Furniture chose Bedworks of Maine for their beautifully designed solid wood materials and construction. Since 1975, Bedworks of Maine has made from North American Ash, a hard wood in sizes from twin to king. Their beds are made with metal on metal for strength and easy setup.

Each hand made bed is available in unfinished, a choice of 9 stains or 4 paint colors. You can even choose two tones such as a mix of stains and paints.

Every style is available as a conventional bed, i.e. a box spring and a mattress or platform bed which only requires a mattress. Beds include a headboard and a footboard with choices of styles and finishes.

With a platform bed from Bedworks of Maine, you may also choose a matching footboard or a low profile footboard. There are also two different styles of drawer units for under a platform bed; one of which is shown here.

At left is the Pembroke bed as a platform bed in a clear finish.

On the right is the Pembroke bed as a conventional bed in sage and clear.

Note the matching chest of drawers.
