Dow Furniture carries futons by Bedworks of Maine and Gold Bond. Bedworks futons are made from solid ash and are available unfinished and 12 finishes - 3 paints and 9 stains. Gold Bond, initially started making mattresses in the late 1800's, now also makes futons made from Asian Oak and Asian hardwoods.

Gold Bond make very high quality mattresses for futons. Dow Furniture stocks the Soft Touch, Comfort Coil and Double Foam mattresses. More styles may be ordered from Gold Bond for your specific need. Double Foam is the firmest with soft touch being the softest - come check yourself to see which is the most comfortable for you!

Basic mattress colors are black or canvas. You can also order a cover for your mattress through Dow Furniture from S.I.S. in a variety of patterns which are either washable or dry clean only. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for cover deliveries.
